Just returned from a brilliant trip with the Pack. A full Spanish immersion experience with interesting excursions and fantastic, well-chosen restaurants. 3 days a week we had Spanish class in the morning and the topic was related to the excursions later that day. So much was packed in to the week. One day wandering the walls of Ávila before a sumptuous lunch or visiting a monastery in the mountains. Too many things to mention in one post. The best part about it is Adrián who runs the courses. He could not have been kinder to everyone. He is also a brilliant teacher despite differing language abilities and we all felt our Spanish had improved by the end of the week. Would highly recommend.
What a fantastic experience! An amazing combination of language classes and cultural visits and of course, wonderful food and wine. Adrian and Carmen were such good tutors and hosts. Everyone got on so well and we all laughed so much. Can't wait to book one for next year.
Excellent experience! Adrián had organised a very varied and interesting week, introducing us to a mixture of history, the beautiful countryside of Castile y León and local festivities. The added bonus of well thought out restaurants let us experience typical dishes and complimentary wines. We had plenty of opportunity to improve our Spanish, with Adrián and Carmen always ready to assist. I enrolled for the holiday on my own but was instantly part of a very friendly, supportive group so I had no need to be nervous!
I recently returned from from a really enjoyable, action packed, week with The Pack in Guadarrama. Adrián, who organises the trips, was brilliant and his attention to detail is second to none. The balance between 3 mornings of classes, with afternoon excursions, plus 2 all day trips, was spot on. The classes with Carmen and Adrián were relaxed and very enjoyable - in short, an ideal environment to improve our Spanish. We went to different restaurants every day and they were all pretty amazing. I’m now giving serious thought to signing up for the Asturias trip with The Pack next year.
I cannot rate this Spanish immersion week highly enough. Suffice to say I have attended three and return home looking forward to the next one. The course is extremely well planned in all details, yet can be flexible enough to accommodate local conditions eg the weather. Learning Spanish is made fun with encouraging and experienced teachers, and through a wide range of enjoyable classes, interesting activities and surprises! Not only do you learn and practise Spanish, but also you learn about the local area and enjoy eating local specialities.
