Having impulse bought a new corner sofa which had to be collected (delivery not an option!) from M&S outlet within 24rs, Blackhall Moving and Storage Ltd were my first and last call. They were fast to respond, quick with the quote and courteous and polite throughout the whole transaction. The guys delivering the furniture were great and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend for their quick and professional service. Much appreciated.
Blackhall Moving & Storage are the best moving company we have ever used! They are incredibly easy to deal with, very helpful, and quick too when it came to the actual move. They dealt with very heavy items for us; also items that had to be disassembled and reassembled. There was excellent leadership and the whole team were fantastic. They often consulted to make sure they were putting the right boxes and items in the right rooms. The whole team were great and courteous. they worked incredibly hard - and very very fast. Cleared our 5 bedroom, 2 sitting rooms, a big study, large kitchen, studio, etc. and moved us in at the other side, all in about 4.30 hours! Cannot rate highly enough, superb!
Blackhall Removals are the best company we have ever used. They were excellent when they moved our daughter's house which had a last minute glitch and verything had to go into storage suddenly on the day, instead of to their new house. No problem. They were terrific. So we used them again ourselves for our recnt move which was very complicated with stuff going to different destinations in a particular order, with a contingency plan for storage with them in case we had an overspill. They got every detail right and again were excellent & efficient. All the boys are polite, friendly & super helpful & Carrie who packed boxes was a delight to have in the house at a very difficult time for us. The job was super well orchestrated on the day by Chris with attention to detail via Simon & ourselves. Communications with Vicky at the office are first class, flexible & understanding. Their rates are very reasonable also. I recommend them highly.
I was expecting moving house to be extremely stressful but it was a breeze thanks to Blackhall Moving and Storage. From the moment I first made contact with them (less than two weeks before moving, due to my arrangement with another company falling through) they made it easy. I received my quote within a couple of hours, and even with such short notice I was able to make quite a few changes to the move plan during the course of the following week. This company is an example to everyone of how to do flexibility, professionalism and an absolutely brilliant job. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys and every single thing they did was carried out with their good natures shining through. Their respect for each other makes them a brilliant team and i am extremely grateful to all of them for making my move such an enjoyable experience. Their desire to do the best job they possibly can for their customers was evident from the word go right until they zipped up their lorry. I'm not really one for leaving reviews but I have never been so impressed by any company & could not recommend them more highly.
We used Blackhall Moving and Storage to move us from Edinburgh to West Sussex and I would highly recommend them. From first contact to them driving away at the end every single interaction was helpful, professional and friendly. We had a split delivery which made the logistics a bit more complex than normal and they took it all in their stride. I got several quotes along with Blackhall which were all in the same ballpark, but Blackhall excelled on the customer service and time invested to build a relationship - something which I think is very important when dealing with such a personal thing as moving house.
