We never actually used City Cabs this time (our flight was cancelled) but we made a booking via the website, which was easy. When we had to cancel, we rang which, again, was easy and quick. We've used City Cabs in the past and always found them to be reliable. The only factor stopping five stars is that, when I tried to log into a personal account on a mobile device, the only option which seemed to come up for logging in was a corporate account. Other than that, flawless!
Ordered a taxi via the app the night before needed. Didn’t turn up on time and when I called up I was told that they were still trying to find an available cab - 12 hours after I made the booking. I was told I would get a text when the taxi was on its way. One eventually turned up 20 minutes late - no text received. Clearly no point in pre-booking. Telephone operator was polite but didn’t seem to think there was a problem.
Spacious vehicle with room for a lot of baggage. The cab was also delivered very quickly and the price was reasonable. That said, we had 6 cases + 3 backpacks with us and the driver offered no help to load them in or off the car, even though I told him I was sick and my wife is a tiny woman. Could use a bit more courtesy.
