My wife and I booked this hotel for our anniversary, much cheaper than a standard premier inn but we weren’t disappointed. The rooms look small on the site but the room was really nice, modern throughout and the bathroom and shower were of a high standard. Got a great view of the castle from our room. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to secure early check-in and get a late check out. The best location you’re ever going to get! Will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I booked a one night stay while visiting the Edinburgh Tattoo on Sat night. The location is incredibly central and yet it's a little hidden and quiet treasure in the heart of the city. Rooms very compact, but we knew that when booking. However, exceptionally clean and totally soundproof. The foyer/lounge was very warm and welcoming with a complimentary tea/coffee bar where you could make your own at any time. The staff were all young. They were very friendly, chatty and helpful. We were sorry we only stayed one night. Would definitely book there again if we visited the city another time. A positive experience for a 3-star hotel!

I really enjoyed this place. Great value for the money. Service was attentive, food was HORRIBLE (but I only got dinner once), rooms were really small and bed was tucked into the wall. My opinion is based on price and comfort. We weren't in the room ever and it was perfect for what we needed. It is conveniently located with easy access to everything in the city. Rooms were quiet. I'm glad I stayed and would DEFINITELY stay again. They have a good continental breakfast for 5 pds. Seemed reasonable but didn't have much of a selection beyond pastries, fruit, coffee, and oatmeal. So we didn't eat breakfast. But good value if I was a bread person.

Great location and not too expensive depending on room and time of year. Service was good but you need to buzz at the front desk as there is rarely anyone there. Continental breakfast was good for 5 pounds. Rooms are all but nice for the most part some damage in elevators and bathroom from moisture.

If you've traveled to parts of Asia these rooms are exactly what I would equate to those you'd find in your average love motel. Small, utilitarian but high tech and modern. Great if it's just you or maybe your partner as well. Staff was friendly and i loved that there were a lot of great restaurants on the same street. Would book again.
