I travel a lot in my Job and whilst with the SFA for the week i choose to stay here. Boy I'm glad i did..David and his family are wonderful. Nothing was ever a trouble and his attentiveness to make sure my stay was enjoyable was just fantastic. From the cooked breakfast, wonderful buildings charm and to the room it was first class. I will definitely be staying here again and i have thoroughly recommended the Spylaw Bank House to all those at Oriam and the SFA.

Very convenient to center of town via bus 44. Nice, residential, safe neighborhood, nearby restaurants. If you don't appreciate antiques, or Scottish way of living, this is not your place. David goes the extra mile for guests, and the gardens are delightful.

Lovely landlord, David, who was helpful and a good cook. Enjoyed my stay there, shame I couldn't stay longer as my plans changed. Very handy if you're not motorised and rely on public transport. The Skylink 400 from the airport drops you off just down the road from the bnb, the 44 bus stop is towards the left, just down the road for into the city. Very peaceful and close to the walk of the Water of Leith.
